5 Years.....

This is my happily ever after.... It starts with this boy... exactly 5 years ago...

I had just gotten out of a pretty awful long relationship, a few months before and the last thing on my mind was jumping into another relationship.... So I was just basically goofing off, dating here and there and well just being a teenager. I had lost pretty much all of my friends due to my ex, So I was trying to mend those friendships. I started hanging out with a girl named Sarah. One night while we were hanging out, she got a call from her cousin. He wanted to come hang out. Sarah said he's got a "way nice car!" we should go for a ride... So he came to my house, and picked us up in this brand new Lancer EVO... As soon as I opened the door to get in the back these words just blurted out of my mouth... " WOW your REALLY hot!!" his reply was.... "OK? Thanks...". ( I'm sure he was like... who is this crazy girl???) We went to the Walker Wendy's in PG and he waited in the car while we went and got a drink, I said to Sarah in the gas station, your cousin is sooo cute! She just smiled and yes, he's a good kid. :) On the way home, we exchanged numbers and that was that.

The next day I get a text message that says do you want to hang out? He came and got me and we went for a ride and just talked about EVERYTHING. I even remember LOVING his personality because we both were belting Mariah Carry's "You'll always be my baby". needless to say I was a hussy and we kissed on the 2nd time meeting. haha!

After that 2nd date, we were inseparable. I remember I was OBSESSED with the O.C. at the time, and he would come and watch it with me after I would get out of school at my house. I know he hated the show, but it was so strange to me that HE wanted to come watch just to be with me... I was a little freaked out, I wasn't used to this, I was pretty much treated like shit with my ex and I was not used to having some one just doing something to make me happy....

The first time he said he loved me was when he came and brought me flowers and lunch at my work... good OL Heritage Care Center... we were in the parking lot and he was saying goodbye... as he hugged me he said, "I love you".

My parents loved him, my friends loved him, and I loved him....

We dated for 2 years and then I was engaged. we got marred 5 months later.

This is the first month we started dating, after watching the O.C.

I can't believe how YOUNG WE LOOK!! especially HIM!

He went to dinner with me and the family, this was only 2 months after we had started dating. I just turned 18. I had kept telling my mom that he reminded me so much of my dad in certain ways... after this dinner. she definitely agreed. haha! she said to me, " you always did say you wanted to marry someone like your daddy." My dream came true.

This is our 1st camping trip in '07 with his family... we wrote on a tree "Robby and Kilie 07" that tree is still there. we go see it every year up Huntington Canyon.

This is how my life started over.... I never wanted to believe in love after the hurt I went through for years with my previous relationship... in a way I like to think this boy saved my heart. :)

I love you Robby, I can't believe it's been 5 years, Thank you for everything you've done for me. like I've said, your my world, your my everything, I don't know what I would do without you in my life. :) Happy 5 years and here's to another million!

Umm... pretty sure this is the greatest CD out there right now!

It kind of puts you in a "want to kill every ex boyfriend" kinda mood/I wish I could sing kinda mood.... But it is an awesome album. I officially am in love with a woman named Adele right now. he he! totally kidding... but she truly is amazing.

Crafts and puppies!! My 2 Loves....

We have lived in my house now going on 4 years and it's time I re-do some things/add.... and I know a lot of my co-workers and family have heard of the projects but have yet to see them... so here we go. :)

First off, I have wanted to make a paper book wreath for seriously A LONG time... I had seen millions! and I just didn't really like them a whole ton... i'm pretty picky to be honest... but I fell across this bad boy and this is the one I wanted to do...

So here is mine... I just threw the little "live" sign in I dont love it but it'll work until I find something else to fill it.




It's HUGE and I needed it to be huge to fill up my walls. I have those vaulted ceilings so I have lots of wall to fill up.


And in my walk in area we have this "balcony" type thing that was just empty.. so I found a vintage chair off of KSL and the little table was special. My Bestie McKell had this at her house and it was her sweet grandma joe's and she GAVE it to me.. *tear* we re-did it in blue, cuz i'm obsessed with the Krylon Ocean something or other. I LOVE IT!

My mom is in charge of her wards super saturday type thingy... and we've been going all over the place to find easy projects... I found this at wood connections. and I painted it that Krylon Ocean breeze?? ( the name is changing every paragraph i'll have to go see what it is for sure) BUT I LOVE THE COLOR!... I'm also REALLY into glazing these days with the Faux glaze in black. it makes all the details stand out.

Robby said I had to take a pic of the flower he got me a few nights ago cuz it's a "perfect" flower. He's a dork. but I love him! :) and it was very sweet of him to bring me a flower.. :)

AND.... I found Robby like this the other day hehehe! Prissy loves her daddy! :) I just wish she liked me.. :( she was supposed to be MY dog!

Hi Teeny! this is MY Puppy! she follows me everywhere. she's my little "craft" dog too. When I sew she sits on my lap, when I paint she's underneath me somewhere... she loves to follow me around... When I blog! here she sits... on my lap. she's my baby! How could you not just love little TEENY! :)

PS: Nice bum where you from... he he he!! oh he would kill me! haha! I looked at this pic and thought of edit-ing it out... but nah.... it's a nice bum! haha!

AND we've been spending some time in Price lately, Robby's dad hasn't been feeling all that great and is coming up for heart surgery here in a few weeks so we went down there this last weekend and they had just bought a new puppy named "Sissy" her and Prissy are best of friends.. Teeny isn't so sure about her though..

I just love her puppy belly! Hers so fat! he he! She is a collie red healer mix I think. she has the cutest personality and super cute floppy ears. I just love the doggies! :)

So for my dad's B-day this year ( which was in Aug) all of us a kids and my mother went in on the "mustang experience" and Miller moter sports. Basically you get to drive a race car... He was WAY stoked. Robby and I were able to go and watch.. what a thrill!

We were able to stand on a platform and watch the cars go right under us... You really can't explain how cool it is to hear 10 race cars go right underneath you... Such an adrenalin rush!

After you drove 10 laps by yourself, you were able to go on 2 "hot laps" where you were the passenager and a professionl race car driver took you for a ride... my mom was offered a turn but she gave it to Rob instead. She said he would "appreciate it more"... When he was done he said that I would have crapped and it's a good thing they didn't let me go. ( I wanted to but they said they were out of gas)... anyways he says you go up on a turn and he said I thought for sure the driver would shift down, but no, he shifed up and just slid around the corner.. He said it was nuts but so much fun!

After we went into the museum that had all of Larry H. Miller's Cars.. It was pretty sweet.

Then after that fun, we went to lunch while we waited for something pretty special.

Robby got 4 tickets to go ride the Union Pacific Train for (specail people) or something like that.. He turned in an unsafe motorist ( basically he called in their plates when he was driving the train because the doof ran through the crossing guards) and was caught, so they thanked him with a train ride lol!... It was actually really cool!

Robby got 2 hats, and we all got some U.P. water bottles, pens. all the works. basically to just say thank you. It was kind of cool

Anyways that was our Friday... kind of a busy day but sooo much fun!

Holy Smokes!!!

Yes I just realized it's been almost over 3 months since I last posted anything! We have been busy playing. So really quick...

• We got our Etsy shop up and running! I'm sooo excited about it! My sweet sister is a Etsy celebrity so she helped me get everything set up. So THANK YOU SISSY!!

• My friend and I have been getting a lot of furniture from yard sales, DI places like that and have re-finished them! I LOVE SPRAY PAINT! never again will I sand anything down! LOL! • I also started quilting again, ( i know this post sounds like "OH demestic me!".. I really just want to keep track of all my projects :) anyways... so I started this quilt back in freaking 9th GRADE! me and my bestie McKelly Jane decided we wanted to start a quilt with my mom, we both never finished it, but I pulled thee ol girl out and I sewed it all together! it's so funny how ugly it really is! my taste in style back then was WAY different. so I call this quilt.." the quilt of many ugly and strange colors". I told my bestie I finished it and we both got a little teary eye'd haha! we were so young and innocent back then.. She even said "that quilt means so much to us, I can't believe that you finished it! :)" haha, kind of lame, but it's amazing that we are still such good friends. I love that girl. anyways, that's the only pic I have, it's was taken with my ghetto phone, so the quality sucks.. but I sure am proud of this dang ol thing! :)

Well anyways... that is what is going on in my life. Some credit needs to go out to my wonderful hubsters for helping with most of my projects. Litereally, I make him help me with most of my crazy ideas. and PLUS he's so dang good at it! :)

News from us

So not a whole ton has been going on lately, but I feel like we should up-date our lifes real quick... As you all know I love four-wheelers, grew up on them and just really enjoy going. And ever since i've known my husband he's wanted a Banshee and started this "banshee" fund when we got married. lol! well his dream FINALLY came true and we got him his banshee. Now I know they're fast but I didn't realize HOW FAST! A few days after he got it, he took me for a ride. He goes do you wanna see how fast this thing can go?? I'm all SURE! This should be fun, so he says "hold on to me and lean forward." ... Easy enough.... So he goes, and all I rememeber is screaming STOP STOP STOP!! your scaring the living crap out of me!! he turns around looks at me and says, "Kilie, that was 3rd gear, we still had 3 more gears to go." ya..... it's fast. lol!

Then we got a new doggie! I found her on KSL, she's a 3 year old pure bred Yorkie! She is seriously sooo much fun! Her previous owners were getting rid of her because they said they didn't have time for her and she was kept in a kennel a MINIMUM of 12 hours a day!! SOOO SAD! so we took her. and she's not fixed, so maybe we'll do puppies... we'll see. but she weighs a total of 5 pounds and is sooo sweet. Her name is Saydee but we changed it to Teeny... cuz well she is and I like Teeny better. LOL!

well anywho... that's what the Lehman's have been up to recently!!

Yesterday we celebrated our 3 year anniversary! SOOOOO CRAZY!! People who knew about it kept saying, I can't believe it's been 3 years... Tell me about it!

So I came home from my lunch break and this is what I found, I love my cute friend!!
Then we got ready for dinner later that night and went to Tucanos at the Riverbottoms and then walked around and shopped. We had fun!

I took ONE PIC of the whole night and this was it... at our house... LOL!

Now here comes the cheese story... SO WARNING! If you don't like the mushy stuff then skip it.. :)

So about 4 months ago Robby came home from work and said, " I found a new song that I love!" and he played it for me and I fell in love with it. So we dubbed it "our song" (for now lol) and every time it would play when we were in the car or if we were at work or if he was out of town and that song came on, I would get a little teary eyed, AND I STILL DO! well it hit the radio and I've heard it a million times and i'm sure all of you have heard it too but this is our life... this is how we are... I love him more than words can explain, and I thought I knew what love was 3 years ago when I married him, but the longer I am married to him, the more I fall IN LOVE!! awhile ago I went to lunch with some girls I was working with and I said do you care if I invite Robby? (it was just cafe rio) and they said Of course not! we love Robby! So we went and had lunch and then we went back to work. When we got back they all said how lucky I was to have him and that they hoped when they got married they could be like us. It made my day! Because other people can see our love and know that we have fun and are each other's best friends!
