Huntington Canyon

Rob and I bought a new trailer about a month ago, so we decided to go camping up Huntington Canyon to try it out. We had a BLAST!! It was so fun to get away and VERY relaxing to be up the mountains. Here are some pics from our trip. LOTS OF PICS. :)

Seriously everyone around us we're catching fish left and right but we didn't get anything! My first time fishing and the only thing we caught was a stupid weed!
I give up.

SO FUNNY STORY........... Robby was saying how lame I am and that I don't do anything crazy anymore, how we came up with this convo is beyond me, but I said I'll go jump in that pond naked then, and he didn't believe me! So I showed him! I jumped in naked! and it was freezing AND!!! there were LEECHES!!!! My trusty little puppy came in after me to save me cuz I was screaming so loud. and she got a leech stuck her! Me being the fine first aid certified nurse that I am did the only thing that I knew how to at the moment, CRIED! ya I thought she was gonna die. So I cried my eye's out yelling at robby "GET IT OFF OF HER! HURRY SAVE HER!" we pulled it off and now she just has a huge hicky. I guess what your supposed to do is just pour salt on it and it shrinks off. So if you ever get a leech, DO THAT! haha!

After taking a shower and getting cleaned up we went to bed.

What we've been up to!!

For some reason June and July has just flown by for us! we've been working lots and playing hard! So here is a quick update on what we've been doin! :)

We have met some awesome friends in our neighborhood and she is my official BFF haha! We have been doing lots of fun things together! at the end of June, Robby and I always go to the Lehi rodeo so this year we invited Matt and Chayln. Well Matt was being a punk and said no way in heck would he go so Chayln came and partied with us! we had a blast!




after the rodeo we walked around and looked at the live stock, and there was this POOR BABY COW who's leg had been broken and was it was literally just hanging there. I asked the guy what they were going to do to the baby cow and he said SHOOT IT!! can you freaking believe it! so I blew kisses to him. :( it was really sad. It's probably in my belly now though! haha!

as most of you know I DID NOT grow up in the country, I am a total city girl so I was freaking out by even touching the cow, so I put my big girl panties on and tugged that horn! I felt like such a cow girl. I even got to pet a horse that night too!

Then for the 4th we all went to Thanksgiving point and watched the fire works. Prissy had never been to fireworks so I thought it would be fun to take her. When the first ones went off she started barking and growling, then after they KEPT going off she didn't like it, she just hid under the blanket on my lap and shivered all night. I'm such a mean mom.

A few weeks later we went to Lagoon with Matt and Chalyn and it was a BLAST! I haven't been forever and they have tonz of amazing new rides! This one is called "Wicked" and HOLY HELL I amost had a heart attack. but it was so much fun!

I was seriously shaking in line cuz I was so nervous!

We have had a great summer so far with our new friends and have loved every min of it!



Then yesterday I went boating with my Mom and Dad. Robby was working so I took advantage of going. The water was so perfect and it was so warm so I HAD TO WAKEBOARD! I hadn't done it in a long time so I figured eh it's probably just like ridding a bike. Well I was wrong, For some appearent reason I could not get up on that stupid board! Everytime I didn't get up I would tell me dad, "just one more time!" and finally after the 20th time I did get up! I was so proud! I"m not an old fart yet I still got it! haha! But man, when I woke up today I thought I was gonna die! my arms are and back are so sore! I can barley lift them! So I guess I am getting old! haha!

Well that's about our two months wrapped up! Next week we are going to go camping in our NEW TRAILER! I'm so excited! Robby got a heck of a deal on it so this will be the first time we use it and I'm so excited! Have a hapy 24th everyone! LOVES!!!

Camping up AF Canyon

For memorial day weekend Rob and I decided to ask some of our friends Matt and Chalyn if they wanted to go camping with us. We headed up American Fork Canyon and went to Tible Fork. Growing up our family would always go up there and ride so I kinda knew where was I going. Well there were lots of people and 45 mins later in our Truck and there fabulous FJ (which I want now) we finally made it to the MOST PERFECT SPOT EVER. It rained a little so Chalyn and I stayed in the tent and played cards while the boys cooked us yummy hamburgers! Later that night it stopped raining and we sat around the fire. It was sooo much fun and I can't wait to go again! Thanks Matt and Chalyn for going with us! we had tonz fun!

On a different note, the hubby is back in ELKO AGAIN! and It totally sucks. I miss him lots and lots. But at least he still has a job and were still making money. So i'm a loser and if anyone ever wants company, You've got my number! haha! Hopefully he'll be back soon!

Jackson Hole & One year Anniversary

So we came back from Jackson Hole on Tuesday. We weren't supposed to leave until Thursday but since it was the off season a lot of stuff was closed so we decided to come home early. But in the 4 days we were there we did have lots of relaxation, good food and tonz of shopping!! here are some pics from our trip!! ENJOY! :)

The drive took about 4 hours, Prissy did very well too. She just sat there and looked out the windows and slept most of the time.

When we got there our room wasn't as "up to par" as what we expected. So Rob went down and asked the Hotel guy if there was something a little nicer since it was our 1 year anniversary. He handed Rob the key and said go check out this one and see if you like it. Well it was a suite!! it was so nice!! so we called down and Robby said it's way nice but how much more is it? and they guy said don't worry about it, Happy Anniversary. So nice of him!

Robby kept hiding in the closet and closing the door with Prissy. I thought it was kinda funny.

On our Anniversary Robby wanted to go to a fancy dinner and we went to the Silver Dollar Grill. We had yummy ( but quite expensive) steak and potatoes. YUM!

The next day we went shopping all day long and bought lots of stuff! We decided to eat at this little Mexican joint on the corner. It was the best Mexican food I'd had in a long time.

In a shop looking at there cool dead animals on the wall. haha! this moose was like 5 grand. Robby wants to kill one of these and put it in our house. NO THANKS!

Prissy was a big hit in Jackson, EVERYONE wanted to pet her and loved her big ears! She even got her picture taken by a bunch of Chinese people. She was such a good girl on this trip.

On Monday night we went to the Elk Refuge where they have over 60,000 acers of land for wild animals to live. Unfortunately we drove for an hour and didn't see ANYTHING on the reserve. So we took off on our one towards Teton and found LOTS of cool stuff all by ourselves!

We were literally like 5 feet away from this moose! I was crappin! We also saw, lots of elk, MORE MOOSE, and Buffalo. Unfortunately it was to dark for our camera, so we don't have any good pics of them.

Then on Tuesday we came home and we went and got Pedicures, Manicures, and our eyebrows waxed. Robby thought the whole rubbing his feet thing felt good but kind of weird. The lady looked at me and said "your husband and Baby feet! soft like baby!" haha! it was kind of funny.

Anyways we had a great trip! We both have until Monday off and we're not looking forward to going back to work but it was nice to have a little break and spend time with each other.

ONE YEAR!!!

*May 10th*

Yesterday we celebrated our 1 year anniversary and wow did time fly!! Anyways.... I just wanted to take the time to let Robby and the world know how much he truley means to me. He is the best husband in so many ways. When things get hard he always steps up and goes the extra mile so that I can be taken care of. He is such an amazing provider for our little family. When his job was struggling and he could no longer work in utah he didn't sit and mope around and collect unemployment, through lots of tears and sleepless nights he decided to pack up his things and move out of his comfort zone by himself, to make ends meet. I look up to him so much for doing that for me, it was probably one of the hardest trials we have had to face yet but it made us so much stronger and I am sooo truley greatful for him.

One thing that I can always count on is his humor. No mater what the situation good or bad he can make me laugh so hard. That is probably one of the things that made me fall in love with him. When I am having the hardest day he is always there to cheer me up, either with a goofy "naked" dance or some lame song that he has changed the words to. It ALWAYS makes the bad day go away.

Robby, you make my world go round, without you I would be nobody. You bring out the good in me and it makes me want to be a better person when I am around you. Your an amazing husband and I want you to that I will always love you forever and ever.

Today we went over to my parents house for a BBQ and my parent's friend came over with this little thing. I guess he built it out of a bar stool and it has a little honda motor on it. It was a pretty cool lookin thing. So we all had to ride on it.

Also, we went to the mall to get some new outfits for JACKSON! and we came across these little beauties! They were only 99 cents so we bout them. Mine are pretty cute actually, Robby's on the other hand look rediculous!! but he thinks they look good. haha! hey at least they were only a dollar!

Easter Weekend

This past weekend has been an AWESOME ONE! Robby is able to work out of Salt Lake now so he officially is home for good! :) I'm loving every minute of it! So we pretty much just hung out all weekend, just the two of us. On Sat we did lots of shopping and I drug Robby around Ti Pan for a few hours! haha! he was a pretty good sport about it. Then later that night we went back to the house and colored easter eggs!! The only box of coloring they had left was GAY Hannah Montanna so it was kinda lame. But we had fun! (well I had fun, Robby did like one egg and then went and sat on the couch to watch a moive while I did the rest).

Then on Sunday we just relaxed and BBQ on our deck. I was so EXCITED to be able to sit out there finally! It was such a nice day and the weather rocked! I'm so happy it's spring finally!

AND...... We are going to be celebrating our ONE YEAR here in a month! CRAZY!! time flew by way to fast! But we finally decided on a place to go that is pet friendly cuz I can't leave my little prissy faye home alone. WE'RE GOING TO JACKSON! (hole wyoming that is...) We went there one year when we were dating and we both had sooo much fun! we both have a week off from work and were just going down there for a few days to play it up and hope it will be warm!

Last but not least! we are selling the bug... I put it on KSL today. It's time to move on from the good ol boy. So keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to sell him! :)
