Holy Smokes!!!

Yes I just realized it's been almost over 3 months since I last posted anything! We have been busy playing. So really quick...

• We got our Etsy shop up and running! I'm sooo excited about it! My sweet sister is a Etsy celebrity so she helped me get everything set up. So THANK YOU SISSY!!

• My friend and I have been getting a lot of furniture from yard sales, DI places like that and have re-finished them! I LOVE SPRAY PAINT! never again will I sand anything down! LOL! • I also started quilting again, ( i know this post sounds like "OH demestic me!".. I really just want to keep track of all my projects :) anyways... so I started this quilt back in freaking 9th GRADE! me and my bestie McKelly Jane decided we wanted to start a quilt with my mom, we both never finished it, but I pulled thee ol girl out and I sewed it all together! it's so funny how ugly it really is! my taste in style back then was WAY different. so I call this quilt.." the quilt of many ugly and strange colors". I told my bestie I finished it and we both got a little teary eye'd haha! we were so young and innocent back then.. She even said "that quilt means so much to us, I can't believe that you finished it! :)" haha, kind of lame, but it's amazing that we are still such good friends. I love that girl. anyways, that's the only pic I have, it's was taken with my ghetto phone, so the quality sucks.. but I sure am proud of this dang ol thing! :)

Well anyways... that is what is going on in my life. Some credit needs to go out to my wonderful hubsters for helping with most of my projects. Litereally, I make him help me with most of my crazy ideas. and PLUS he's so dang good at it! :)

News from us

So not a whole ton has been going on lately, but I feel like we should up-date our lifes real quick... As you all know I love four-wheelers, grew up on them and just really enjoy going. And ever since i've known my husband he's wanted a Banshee and started this "banshee" fund when we got married. lol! well his dream FINALLY came true and we got him his banshee. Now I know they're fast but I didn't realize HOW FAST! A few days after he got it, he took me for a ride. He goes do you wanna see how fast this thing can go?? I'm all SURE! This should be fun, so he says "hold on to me and lean forward." ... Easy enough.... So he goes, and all I rememeber is screaming STOP STOP STOP!! your scaring the living crap out of me!! he turns around looks at me and says, "Kilie, that was 3rd gear, we still had 3 more gears to go." ya..... it's fast. lol!

Then we got a new doggie! I found her on KSL, she's a 3 year old pure bred Yorkie! She is seriously sooo much fun! Her previous owners were getting rid of her because they said they didn't have time for her and she was kept in a kennel a MINIMUM of 12 hours a day!! SOOO SAD! so we took her. and she's not fixed, so maybe we'll do puppies... we'll see. but she weighs a total of 5 pounds and is sooo sweet. Her name is Saydee but we changed it to Teeny... cuz well she is and I like Teeny better. LOL!

well anywho... that's what the Lehman's have been up to recently!!

Yesterday we celebrated our 3 year anniversary! SOOOOO CRAZY!! People who knew about it kept saying, I can't believe it's been 3 years... Tell me about it!

So I came home from my lunch break and this is what I found, I love my cute friend!!
Then we got ready for dinner later that night and went to Tucanos at the Riverbottoms and then walked around and shopped. We had fun!

I took ONE PIC of the whole night and this was it... at our house... LOL!

Now here comes the cheese story... SO WARNING! If you don't like the mushy stuff then skip it.. :)

So about 4 months ago Robby came home from work and said, " I found a new song that I love!" and he played it for me and I fell in love with it. So we dubbed it "our song" (for now lol) and every time it would play when we were in the car or if we were at work or if he was out of town and that song came on, I would get a little teary eyed, AND I STILL DO! well it hit the radio and I've heard it a million times and i'm sure all of you have heard it too but this is our life... this is how we are... I love him more than words can explain, and I thought I knew what love was 3 years ago when I married him, but the longer I am married to him, the more I fall IN LOVE!! awhile ago I went to lunch with some girls I was working with and I said do you care if I invite Robby? (it was just cafe rio) and they said Of course not! we love Robby! So we went and had lunch and then we went back to work. When we got back they all said how lucky I was to have him and that they hoped when they got married they could be like us. It made my day! Because other people can see our love and know that we have fun and are each other's best friends! Boys will be boys....

I'm pretty sure we have the funnest neighborhood EVER! were always out riding some sort of "machine" whether it's dirt bikes, little four wheelers or the banshee. Some neighbors might not appreciate our noise but man do we have fun! we just got dish and got rid of direct tv (they are a bunch of pukes) anyways Robby and Curtis decided to try out their invention. Funny thing is, after we were done, Robby came in the house and said " babe! look at my butt!" it was bright red because it got so hot. LOL! next time we'll use it when we go to the dunes. :)

So Robby and I just got back from Vegas. We always try to go at least once a year....

My face pretty much sums up our trip and how horrible it was.... I did however win 30 bucks on the nickle machine so I can't complain too bad. just a certain something kinda ruined the whole trip but oh well life goes on right??

OUR COUCH IS FINISHED!!!

Rob and I had this fabulous idea that we would re-upholster a couch. Ya what were we thinking.... but yes! we did this all by hand and with a staple gun and my horrible sewing skills. sorry it's out of order but the end is what we began with. that awesome 70's fabric. the pics are kinda blurry but it's a chocolat brown.

my attempt and making pillows... not quite done yet, I still have one more side to hand sew.

MY Grandma

1928-2011

I'll miss going to see you at your house and have you tell me " have you lost weight" even though we both know i'm still the same...

I'll miss talking on the phone with you, even though it was random conversations, and most of the time I would be in mid sentence and you'd say " alright Ki talk to you late bu bye". I will always keep those phone calls in my heart.

I'll miss the times I would tell you that you needed to get some meat on your bones and you'd pat your little belly and say, "if only I could lose some here".

I will miss the times that it was my birthday and you would sing "Happy Birthday" in your cute high pitched vibrato grandma voice. I loved that. Even when I was married you would always make the effort to call and sing to me. I will especially miss getting your cards that always had some sort of flower on the front with a "grandma" type poem inside. Your cards were the best.

I'll miss reminiscing about all the good times we had when we were younger... like the time I asked you what your favorite swear word was while I was eating jello... You told me "shit" and I laughed so hard I choked on the jello and almost threw up. Even when I told you that story a few days before you passed you told me you like to use the word "helly" now because that is what grandma Taylor would say when you were younger.

I'll miss your fingernails. Never in my life did I not see them un-painted for more that 24 hours. you always have them perfectly "grandma" pink. I also loved when you would tickle the back of my arms with them, it always made me feel so loved. Even when you were in the hospital and here I was 22 years old, sitting on your bed as you held my hand and tickled my arm. I miss that greatly.

I could go on and on about how much I'll miss you, I know you are in a much better place and you are free of pain. I'm sorry I wasn't fast enough at getting my babies here. You would always say you hoped you lived long enough to see my children. But now, I know your with them, playing with them how you did with Jason and I. I will always tell them about all of our good times and how amazing of a women you were. Like I said to you before we closed the casket... take good care of my babies for me :) Love you always and forever........ Ki. :)

THREE!!!

When Robby and I were first married I always got teased about getting a dog before we have children because lets be honest, I wasn't very good with kids nor did I know what to do with kids. And everyone joked that if the dog lives then maybe try for children. Now this isn't an annoucement this is just saying... MY DOG HAS LIVED FOR 3 YEARS TODAY!! :) and I think she is BETTER than kids :) and i can explain....


I can lock her in a kennel if she's being naughty

We can go ANYWHERE and leave her at home or in the car

she always agrees with me and never complains

always is there to greet me at the door and gives me lots of loves

she would jump in front of a moving vehicle for me (literally)

last but not least.... she lets me torture her.

PS: I do REALLY want kids, i'm not bagging on that, just not right now ;) however, IF we aren't able to have children, I would totally be a "dog lady" :)
